1. Introduction

MyTechGenie, Inc. ("MyTechGenie," "we," "our," or "us") provides a private, in-house AI customer service platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors to our marketing website and customers using our platform, how we use it, and what choices you have.

This policy applies to mytechgenie.ai and the MyTechGenie platform. It does not apply to customer end-user conversations processed through the platform — those are governed by the agreement between MyTechGenie and the customer (typically including a Business Associate Agreement for HIPAA-covered entities), and by the customer's own privacy policy.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

• Account information (name, business email, company name, phone number)
• Demo and sales-inquiry information you submit through this website
• Billing and payment information, processed through our payment provider
• Support requests, feedback, and other correspondence with our team

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and browser information
• IP address and approximate location
• Pages visited, time spent, and basic usage analytics
• Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy)

2.3 Information we deliberately do not collect

MyTechGenie does not collect, store, or have access to the content of end-user conversations between your customers and your Genie deployment. Those conversations live inside your own cloud infrastructure. We can see operational metadata necessary to run the service — usage volume, error logs, billing-relevant counts — but not the substantive content of customer chats.

3. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the MyTechGenie platform
• To process transactions and send service-related communications
• To respond to inquiries, demo requests, and support tickets
• To send product updates (you can opt out at any time)
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• To comply with legal obligations

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

• Service providers who help us run our business (payment processing, hosting, email delivery, analytics) — under contracts requiring appropriate confidentiality and security.
• Legal requirements when we are required to disclose information in response to a valid legal request.
• Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case any successor would be bound by this policy.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, multi-factor authentication for staff access, audit logging, and least-privilege access controls. No security program is perfect, but we treat the security of customer data as a core engineering responsibility, not an afterthought.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information ("right to erasure")
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request portability of your data
• Withdraw consent for processing based on consent

8. Children's privacy

MyTechGenie is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

MyTechGenie is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify customers directly.
