MyTechGenie was built for a simple reason: the best customer-service AI shouldn't require handing your customer data to a third-party model. So we built one that doesn't.

Why we exist

Most AI chatbots on the market today work the same way: every customer message gets shipped off to a hosted LLM API somewhere, the answer comes back, and the company hopes nothing sensitive was just sent over the wire.

For most businesses that's uncomfortable. For healthcare, finance, and legal it's a non-starter — not because the AI is bad, but because the architecture sends PHI, PII, and confidential customer data to a vendor with no business associate agreement covering it.

MyTechGenie was designed around the opposite assumption: your data should never leave your walls. The model runs in your own cloud. PHI is scrubbed before it goes anywhere. There is no third-party model receiving customer conversations to train on, sell, or accidentally leak.

How we're different

Private, in-house AI

Runs on your own open-source model inside your AWS. Your conversations are never sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any third-party LLM.

HIPAA-ready architecture

Field-level encryption, BAA-gated routing, audit trails, and tenant isolation are built in — not bolted on as compliance theater.

Grounded, not generative

Replies come from your knowledge base, not a model's imagination. Safety gates block invented prices, policies, and order numbers.

Humans where it matters

Live-agent handoff with full thread context. Anything sensitive, unusual, or high-stakes routes to a person — never closed alone by AI.

The team

MyTechGenie is built and operated by a small engineering team based in the United States. The founder spent over a decade as a product manager at financial services and healthcare companies before starting this — long enough to know what compliance officers actually need to see before they'll sign.

We're intentionally small. We design for the kinds of businesses that can't afford to be a beta tester for someone else's AI vision: medical practices, financial advisors, real-estate firms, family-owned services. Companies where one bad chatbot answer can mean a real-world problem.

Where we are today

We're early. MyTechGenie is currently working with a small group of founding-partner customers across healthcare, dental, eyecare, and financial services.
